here’s the story
I’m not a regular car person - I’ve always had a passion for quirky affordable rides, and always into the DIY cleaning thing. As a career to pay the bills, I worked in automotive event marketing and had a blast showcasing new cars and their features. As 2020 rolled around, the in-person event space wasn’t the best for job security. In the meantime, I worked at an amazing apothecary company and learned the ropes of starting a company based on accessible, natural and great smelling products. As events started back up, I jumped on the automotive event saddle and was excited to revive a previous corporate life … but it didn’t shake out that way. The layoff reaper swung back around and as I stared the job search process I found myself in a zombie-like state - just staring at job sites, so I avoided reality and went to clean my MINI (named Gil). After, I scrubbed off the car cleaners I had just applied to my entire car, and I asked myself - why doesn’t anyone make natural car cleaners?
I cashed in my savings and took the ultimate ride of a lifetime to make non-toxic, great smelling car care products and host experiential cleaning events to turn the dreaded task of car cleaning from something you have to do - to something you get to do.
